Students are the heart of our community. Everything we do is to enhance the student experience. Our students draw on the wider alumni community for mentoring, internships, advice, and connections around the world.
You don’t disappear from St Hilda’s when you move out of accommodation or finish your university degree – your Communitas connection is lifelong. We will keep inviting you to join in the work that we are doing and helping you throughout your life maintain connections to our wider community.
Parents trust us with their kids, and we welcome them warmly to the St Hilda's community. We work closely with our parents to ensure the care, security and development of all of our students.
Schools welcome our support for their students’ transition to university. We are happy to come and visit your school, speak to your students about university and how a college can help them in the transition from school to university.
St Hilda's College is a living community and residential college on campus at the University of Melbourne.
We acknowledge and pay respect to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Owners of the land upon which our college is situated. We pay our respect to all the Elders of Indigenous students who call St Hilda’s home. We also acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members of our community, the University of Melbourne, and the wider world.
