St Hilda's celebrates performers. We love debating, theatre sports, monologues, creative writing, and ensembles. Each semester, there are many opportunities for you to extend your abilities, try new things, and build your confidence. Music Night, Big Band competitions, Variety Night and Soirees may be your favourite times of the year.
Cultural endeavours get the thumbs up at St Hilda’s. Our community is big on professional performance, dedicated practice and serious study.
The College has a dedicated music practice room, and several tutorials rooms that you can practice.
Each year students showcase drama skills as cast, crew and collaborative production team. The annual production is a chance to display your acting, singing and instrumental talent, or backstage work.
Our St Hilda’s College Theatre Group’s recent productions include 9 to 5: The Musical , Curtains: The Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone and The Wedding Singer .
St Hilda's College is a living community and residential college on campus at the University of Melbourne.
We acknowledge and pay respect to the Wurrundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Owners of the land upon which our college is situated.
