When a young person moves away from home it can be a big transition for parents and families. It makes it easier to know you are welcome at St Hilda’s.
Your membership of our community strengthens the Communitas fabric of St Hilda’s. We know many of you live far away and trust us with the wellbeing of your child. They are in good hands. Pastoral care is high on our agenda.
St Hilda’s is a positive investment. We’ll support your son or daughter to achieve – academically and in cultural or sporting pursuits. Each student is welcomed respectfully as a whole, young adult. Their individuality is appreciated. Here is a place where they can belong, progress and become their best self.
If you are in town, you are always welcome to join us for a meal in the Dining Hall. We’ll be in touch across the semester, with regular news updates and invitations to regular events like Parent’s Drinks at the College at the end of every semester and regional events in your home area.
St Hilda's College is a living community and residential college on campus at the University of Melbourne.
We acknowledge and pay respect to the Wurrundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Owners of the land upon which our college is situated. We pay our respect to all the Elders of Indigenous students who call St Hilda’s home. We also acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members of our community, the University of Melbourne, and the wider world.
