Leadership Development

Our mission is to enable young people to explore passions and interests and build the confidence they need to lead. We do that through cultivating authenticity, believing that each individual has unique strengths and talents and providing opportunities for them to shine. This builds self-belief and the capability to achieve their goals now and into the future. Students discover their own unique leadership style and develop a strong narrative about their own style.

Training Programs

All of our leaders receive significant training in leadership and communication skills, respectful relationships, first responder training, bystander training, Mental Health First Aid and First Aid.  Throughout the year, every student at St Hilda's has the opportunity for training in Mental Health First Aid, Wellbeing and Mindfulness, and consent training.

St Hilda's has developed an innovative, ground-breaking Employability Program that takes young people and their professional and personal development seriously over three years.  From developing self awareness and time management to developing a social enterprise, the program develops every student and their unique gifts and style.
